Still Life With Rice by Helie Lee

I read this book among others while in Hawaii and seriously my life has been forever changed. The author writes in the voice of her grandmother one of the most amazing stories I have ever heard. What this woman was willing to do for her children is absolutely intense. It makes me want to be a mother so bad. She is the most selfless woman who is a wonderful example of motherhood. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I pray that I can be half the mother this woman was! I love her!!! Thank to Sandra Dee for recommending it to me! I can always count on her for a great book!
