a REAL mom

This is me and my baby at 5:30pm. Yep, he's still in his pj's and I'm still in my workout clothes. No showers, no baths, no makeup. Just us. I felt like a real mom yesterday because of it. Too busy to do anything but lounge around with my baby. I could get used to this!

Trust me when I say... I am getting real use to it too. It is pretty bad when I barely get to the mall in my sweats and for then someone to notice that Haven had a flower sock on one foot and a pink one on the other. Did I care? NO! I was so proud of you yesterday. Welcome to my world Katie Lady! I think I have worn either sweats or pajamas for a month straight now.

Like my mom said. Shea wore the same PJs two nights in a row. My goal is usually to get at least in the shower by noon, but there are days that it definitely does not happen.

But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Oh, Katie. I have found your blog and OH my goodness, CONGRATS on the birth of little baby Ryder! He is just darling. You look like you're settling into motherhood quite nicely. So so happy for you!
